Whittles is a popular pub and live music venue based in the heart of Oldham town centre. The pub had recently taken over by new management and they decided on a brand refresh. After designing the logo and promotional material, I was approached to build a new website for the venue.
Whittles needed a mobile friendly website that would provide links to tickets as well as a host of other great features.

I built Whittles a responsive live venue website on the WordPress platform.
The website included dedicated gig pages with links to buy tickets, a gallery, information about regular weekly events and contact details. The site also features a monthly Band Of The Month post, where a featured band is given an exclusive interview – great for social media interation.
A testimonial slider was added in order to show how much customers enjoy the venue. I also included a section giving information on their current guest ales.
The design of the website is rendered in blacks and whites, giving it a cool, contemporary look whilst not alienating the existing clientele .

Whittles got an awesome, responsive website tailored to their specific needs. Due to having a strong social media presence, shareable features such as the Band Of The Month were included. A user friendly gig calendar was installed – essential for any live venue website.This was styled to match the rest of the site. The team at Whittles were thrilled, why not pop in for a pint soon?
